Mike Cox

Braes Bayou Company is an independent sponsor firm focused on investing in founder-led B2B services businesses. Its founder, Mike Cox, is a Houston native and multi-unit franchise owner, having acquired 13 tax service locations from a retiring owner. He brings hands-on operating experience in B2B sales and worked as a management consultant, advising private equity investors and management teams on their acquisitions and go-to-market strategy. Mike earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Morehouse College.
